Why is it that short shorts are getting to short?

were ever i go all i find are this tiny *** short shorts that you can tell will obviously show your *** cheeks just by looking at them. my sis gave me her short shorts, there a size to big but they still show my *** cheeks. why is it that designers or fashion companies must insist on making these ridiculously short short shorts? why is it so hard to find short shorts that really cover your *** cheeks?
