Is it true that dreams can tell and/or show the future?

i had a dream that i was dating eminem but i kept calling him by my crushes name (Jonathan who has been away because he moved away since october 2010) anyway the dream i had was that eminem(jonathan) and me were going out then we went to jail for being drunk at a bowling alley (it was a really weird dream) so we went to jail and then came out when we had gotten out eminem starting rapping about something but idk wut it wuz.But before the dream jonathan had gone to juvi which is almost like jail and then a few months later his sis says he is rapping so is it true tht my dream SOME WUT told wut happened in the past and then told the future
